About Service
The “Living Blended” Workshop is designed for integrated families wherein two people come together with children from their respective past relationships. Often the couple is mostly focused on being together and getting married before witnesses and all, forgetting that they are bring into this situation other people who may be affected positively or negatively by their union.
In most cases the children are still trying to heal from the separation on their biological father and mother in the case of divorce or loss of parent in the case of death. The parents themselves may be in place where they seem healed and ready to move on but the identity crisis that come with one day being a single mom/father and next step mother/father to your partner’s children or from married to divorced/ widow and then one day step mother/father is quite daunting and requires preparation for both the couple, children and in the case of co-parenting the other parent.
The impact of entering these situations ill-prepared can have adverse effects of relations and most of pre-marriage/ pre-remarriage courses do not often cover these matters in depth.
The “Living Blended” Workshop is ideal for couples, families and individual who seek to prepare themselves for the situation the union they are about to enter presents. Even at the dating or pre-remarriage stages of the relationship, the couple can identify some red flags that may pose to be a problem down the line, and if these are not addressed before hand they may become a problem that weighs heavy on the marriage.
